Join us as we come together from across Canada to strategize ways to advance food sovereignty in the wake of the federal election. With a new political landscape emerging, this is a crucial moment to organize, build power, and shape a just and sustainable food system for all!
This will be an informal Zoom session that will give us space to:
- Debrief the results of the election: Who got elected and what are they saying about food and farming?
- Consider next steps: What are concrete next steps for advocacy? Who should we build relationships with?
- Find the pressure points: Who are the decision-makers or organizations we can influence? What valuable relationships do we already have?
- Connect with one another: Ask questions, pool knowledge, and strengthen the foundations of a powerful movement.
