The Path to Climate Resilience in Agriculture

in-person event

March 29 @ 3:30 pm 5:30 pm Quebec

Curious about what the National Farmer’s Union is working on? Worried about extreme weather ruining your harvests? Want to do more to address agricultural climate impacts than changing practices on your INDIVIDUAL farm?

Join a conversation next weekend with the National Farmers Union about advancing climate reselience in agriculture! We’ll be discussing the NFU’s agricultural climate solution proposals – including a bold plan to scale up extension and agronomy services to support farm transitions to regenerative agriculture.

This policy has been gaining steam over the last two years and needs a strong advocacy push from us in Quebec to get it included in the next federal budget – we’ll be brainstorming next steps for action!

There will also be a short documentary about climate adaptation strategies on one of our local member farms and lots of information about the NFU’s work beyond climate issues.

Date: Saturday March 29, 3:30-5:30pm
